PolyVision Review!

PolyVision, hmm, you're probably wondering what the hell is that right? Well here's a little bit about it...
PolyVision was inspired by a New Zealand concept known as the 'DREAM FONO.' It holds a activity-filled day of fun and amazement. It brings together teens of Pacific Island and Maori heritage, to inspire and motivate them into seeing what they want in the future and what they need in the present to succeed and to have that future that they want.

PolyVision was held at the University of Queensland, Ipswich Campus. About six different schools attended the gathering, with community leaders and different Pacific Island and Maori entrepeneurs and success stories. Motivational speeces were delivered form the mouths of different successful people from Australia and New Zealand. They spoke about the obstacles and the struggles in which they have faced before being where they are today, it opened the eyes of all the people in the room.

This was the first time that I had been to something like this, and I enjoyed this experience. I have never been surrounded by so many Pacific Island Uni students and Graduates...which hit me and suprised me. Schools were mixed and put into groups, leaders were Mentors. My mentors were Peter and Ellen. they were both very hard-working people, and you can tell that by the way they expressed themselves. They understood everything that we were going through and understood who we were. I was in the Red-Team.

We had the theme of VISION for the day. The day all-up was great! Awesome...and I hope to enjoy this experience again..not as a High-School student...but maybe as a University student or GRADUATE! Hopefully, one day!
